I have owned my own residential design firm in Austin for the last 25 years.
My original degree is a BA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After moving to Austin I began to study interior design at the University of Texas in Austin, where I completed the interior design program.
To keep current, I take continuing design education courses and seminars on an ongoing basis.

I believe very strongly that good design is a collaborative process. It's important that there be good communication and an open exchange of ideas, and that the client, designer, and the craftspeople involved all work together toward a shared vision to achieve a great result.
My role is to work in a partnership with you to turn your vision and your style into a very livable reality.
I always keep in mind that it is your money we're working with, and I make it a top priority to respect your budget and your time.
I have a very strong interest in sustainable design and have worked with clients who have environmental allergies as well as with clients who specified that their homes be as organic and eco-friendly as possible.
I am also very interested in what has been called “universal design”. I feel that, whatever your style is, it's vitally important to design your environment to make your life easier and to save you time and energy, regardless of your age or physical condition.
I'm always happy to talk to you and answer any questions you might have, and I look forward to working with you.
